Capacity Building/Training Products Overview
A range of products has been developed to serve the public and private sector in the disaster risk management, business continuity- and risk management fields. All the products have been designed for specific target groups on an outcome-based approach. The products are accredited through the National Qualifications Framework process and certification is done through UNISA. A
network of experienced and accredited facilitators supports all these products.
Business Continuity Management UNISA ProgrammeThe UNISA / DMS Programmes in Business Continuity Management consist of 8 modules/certificate courses each. This programme address relevant issues for the Southern African region. The content of the Programme is based on international good practice protocols, as well as the Disaster Management Act and National Disaster Management Framework. This programme are accredited at NQF level 5 and are presented in three different packages to suit the specific market needs.
Disaster Risk Management UNISA Programme
