Disaster Risk Management NPC (t/a DMS NPC) has been appointed by the Gauteng Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA). This tender involves conducting a Micro Disaster Risk Assessment, profile and mapping in order to generate adequate capacity for a level 2 provincial disaster management plan.

This will enable CoGTA through the Chief Directorate: Disaster Management and Fire & Rescue Support Services, to achieve one of its strategic objectives of supporting the implementation of the Disaster Management Act, No 57 of 2002, as amended through promoting an integrated and co-ordinated system of disaster management in the province with special emphasis on risk reduction.
