DMS NPC provided LG SETA accredited training in the Fundamentals of DRM, tailored to the needs of traditional leaders and municipal officials. The training was conducted over two days at the Mopani District Municipality Disaster Management Centre in Tzaneen, Limpopo.

The content of the training covers the necessary information on US 251960 (NQF Level 3; 5 Credits): “Identify and describe disaster related risks and threatening situations utilizing basic disaster management concepts and indigenous knowledge” to enable the learner to complete the assessment.
