QP DRONE Tech conducted data processing training and Disaster Risk Management NPC (t/a DMS NPC) conducted LG SETA accredited training in the Fundamentals of Disaster Risk Management, with youth from the Alexandra Community, JHB. This was part of showcasing the launch of the partnership between DMS NPC and QP DRONE Tech. Data processing training took place alongside the DRM training, again showcasing the relationship between DRM and technology.

The purpose was to bring attention to the official partnership between DMS NPC and QP DRONE Tech to attract social impact investors that would be willing to support and sponsor the scaling up and rolling out of DRM and Technology capacity building programmes for the unemployed youth.

Other role-players in attendance included SANTAM, Dept of Science and Innovation, GP PDMC, UNICEF, UNDP, CoJ DMC, Innovation Hub etc.
